Club Welfare
Safeguarding children and young people involved in football activities is a key priority of FC Burbage and is taken very seriously at all levels within the Club.
In line with the Football Association (F.A.) guidelines we have policies which place the welfare of children and young people above all else and everyone involved in the Club should take time out to read and understand these policies.
Children and young people have the right to be protected from abuse, regardless of their age, culture, gender, disability, language, racial origin, religious beliefs or sexual identity will be protected by the Club. We operate a zero tolerance approach to abusive players and parents.
Parents are encouraged to read the RESPECT campaign by the F.A.
Our Club Welfare Officer and coaching staff have attended the welfare workshops organised by Leicestershire County Football Association.
Everyone in contact with the Club is encouraged to report any concerns to the Club Welfare Officer to pursue as necessary and appropriate.
As a club we encourage verbal communication and where possible face to face, however should you prefer to contact the Club welfare officer via email please do so at CWO@FCBurbage.co.uk.
